Our assistant instagram editor and writer, Sofia shares some smoothie secrets to help you refresh yourself healthily when exercising.

Healthy Choices: Fast food comes so handy when living on a rush.

But, how do you feel afterwards? Yeah, not a good feeling.

So here I am to tell you three easy, healthy and really fast smoothies ideas for an excellent start of the day! As a replacement for a meal, they;'refull of the right things.

Let’s start - I like to try new things everyday. Therefore I like to pour into my blender lots of everything that I see on my fridge and see if what it ends up tasting like.

Smoothie #1: Yellow Monday

I like to start my week feeling happy. I like how yellow represents that feeling, therefore for this smoothie you’ll need:

•    1 mature mango
•    ½ cup of Papaya
•    1 cup of almond milk
Blend it all together and drink up.
Serves for one person.

Benefits of Mango:
-Prevents cancer: its antioxidant compounds protect against colon, breast, leukaemia and prostate cancer.
-Lowers cholesterol: with its high levels of fiber, pectin and vitamin C
-Clears the skin: one cup of sliced mangoes supplies 25% of the needed daily vitamin A, which promotes good eyesight.

Benefits of Papaya:
- Anti-Inflammatory effect: papaya contains several unique protein-digesting enzymes including papain and chymopapain. These have been shown to help lower inflammation and to improve healing from burns.
-Immune Support: with its vitamin C and A.

Smoothie #2: Purple Infusion

Do you ever feel like needing lots of sugar? Try blending these amazing smoothie ingredients:
•    ½ cup of frozen blueberries
•    1 cup of almond milk
•    ½ cup of Greek yogurt
Blend it all together and drink up.
Serves for one person.

Blueberries benefits:
-Reduce DNA Damage: oxidative DNA Damage is part of everyday life. DNA damage is part of the reason we grow older. Because blueberries are high in antioxidants they can help neutralize some of the free radicals that cause damage to our DNA.
-May lower blood pressure
-Help maintain brain function and improve memory: antioxidants in blueberries tend to accumulate in areas of the brain that are essential for intelligence.

Smoothie #3: Green tastes good too!

People’s first reaction to a green glass of something to drink is “nasty;” so today I’ll give you the ingredients for a green smoothie that tastes like heaven:
•    2 leaves of kale
•    1 celery stalk
•    ½ cup of pineapple
•    ½ avocado
•    1 cup of natural yogurt
•    Water, add as much as you like
•    1 scoop of protein powder
Blend it all together and drink up.
Serves for one person.

Green smoothie benefits:
-They offer pure nutrition: just for starters avocados provide high amounts of potassium and magnesium
-Will provide you with a lasting source of energy: because of their high content of veggies, green smoothies have a balanced sugar content.
-Low in calories but very filling: because they contain a high amount of water and fiber they’ll make you feel as if you just ate a full meal. If trying to lose weight they will help you fight hunger and cravings while helping the pounds melt off easily.
