Endura Dexter Windproof Gloves *****

When I first tested out these gloves, I was conscious of the close fitting. However, they do allow you full control over the critical parts of the bike - brakes, gears and steering, whereas some windproof gloves are bulky and mean that you lose some dexterity.

On a cold day over the fells or moors they will definitely keep you warm. Even on those cooler spring and summer days, with a wind blowing, they will work and won't cause you too m uch sweat. The padding on the palms will also ensure that your hands remain comfortable throughout a long days ride.  Grip is definitely good, and I was more than able to handle a multitool with the gloves on - something that most of us will recognise as a problem for many gloves.

This is the tech detail from Endura:

Windproof/breathable softshell glove
Bodymapped panelling to provide optimal stretch/breathability
Soft tri-gel padding zones
Silicone print palm and finger tips for grip
Durable overlay on thumb crotch
3D thumb cut with lifeline seam for comfort fit
Reflective prints
Soft knuckle padding
Embossed neoprene cuff with velcro adjuster
Fullfinger terry sweat wipe

For me what it means is this. The gloves will kep your hands warm - even dry. They do stretch and allow good control and the padding will keep hands comfortable. A tip for you though - they are a close fit, so if you buy them online, make sure that you get the right size and make it generous. Overall a good glove and worth the dosh.
